Cobb Mom's helping Cobb offers long-term housing, life skills development, job and housing search services, and spiritual guidance to Cobb County citizens in need. For those with a strong desire for a better life complete the program and leave CSM with life skills for success, jobs, and often times, houses or apartments they can call home.
Every month, a need is identified and special offerings/items are collected. Organizations who benefit include:
Simple Needs of Georgia - pillows, coats, socks, pillows, toys, clothing drive, pillows, new small appliances, pillows and more pillows!
Inspiritus aka Lutheran Services of Ga - Christmas gifts as requested
Cobb Diaper Day (thousands of diapers to those in need) since 2016!
Dowell Elementary - school supplies
West Cobb YMCA & MUST - summer lunches
Out of Darkness - $'s to help fund rescues of those trapped in sex trafficing.
MUST Loaves & Fishes kitchen at the old Elizabeth Inn location. For more than 30 years, a monthly hot lunch was supplied and served. Wool sox, towels and washcloths, fresh fruit were supplied periodically to clients.
MUST Food Barrel sits in the Narthex and the barrel full of non-perishables is picked up monthly.
MUST Toy Drive at Christmas
Calvary Lutheran Children's Home - CLC members contribute West Cobb restaurant gift cards which allow children to practice the 'art' of ordering a sit-down meal from a menu and learning proper dining behaviors.

We have blood drives at least 4 times a year.

We collected shoes from our members that were no longer worn or needed and sent them to Soles4Souls to be given to those who are without shoes.
We also collected used prescription glasses and hearing aids
