At Christ Lutheran Church, we offer many Opportunities to serve your Church within our doors. From serving on Sundays to Fellowship Events, CLC gives you a chance to use your God-given Talents within our church doors, and allows you to give back to our Church Family to help feed the Holy Spirit within our members.

COMMUNION & VISITATION MINISTRY AT CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is one of God’s gifts to us, His people. Through the Sacrament, we are forgiven, strengthened, and assured of our Lord’s presence now and forever. Because of sickness or other circumstances, if you are unable to participate in the celebration of Holy Communion during regular liturgies, trained volunteers of Christ Lutheran are equipped to visit you in your home and share the Body and Blood of Christ.

If you or someone you know would like to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion at home, we would love to add you to our list! We have a wonderful, caring team of individuals who make up our CLC Home Communion ministry and are open to sharing Christ with you in this way. To get a name added to our visitation list, simply call or email the Church office.

Faith Formation (formerly Christian Education)

Faith Formation is more than just Sunday School. CLC Christian Education feeds our Christian souls through many opportunities and need volunteers to help reach out to every CLC member.

Fellowship Events

At CLC, we love to get together as a church to celebrate our family and friends. Throughout the year, we enjoy all fellowship opportunities, i.e. brunches and lunches, a yearly church picnic, Lenten dinners, Christmas dinners, and other events that bring us together in community.

Social Ministry

Our Social Ministry group volunteers outside of our church walls to reach out to those in need within West Cobb and the greater Atlanta area. If you love to serve others, we are always looking for new volunteers to touch the lives of many. CLC is a small church with a big heart.

Building Maintenance

Just like your home needs maintenace, so does CLC. If you like to work with your hands, our property committee needs your assistance. We also have Spring and Fall workdays where the whole congregation helps out.

Quilting Group

Quilters meet the first Monday of the month to assemble and tie quilts made of donated material. These quilts are shipped worldwide under the auspices of the Lutheran World Relief.
